Moss & Co, founded in 1885, remains a family business with a well established tradition of high quality service and personal interest in every customer.

 

Our clientele is wide ranging – furniture makers, joiners, carpenters, wood carvers, pattern makers, do-it-yourself enthusiasts, schools, colleges, building maintenance and Government departments all figure largely among the people and organisations that we are proud to serve.

 

Moss & Co is well known for its extensive range of species, the majority of which are imported but which includes some native varieties. Stocks are mainly kiln dried to established trade standards and stored in purpose built racks to ensure that the wood remains in first class condition. Planks are generally kept in their sawn state awaiting conversion.
